Formatting paragraph |
Justification is the process of lining up text to the left or right on each line. You can align text on the left or right margins or center text between the margins.
Also there is a way to spread out text between the margins. Full Justification adds extra space between words to exactly spread text to both margins.
| Justify left: align text on the left margin. | |
| Justify center: center text between the margin. | |
| Justify right: align text on the right margin. | |
| Justify full: Align text on the left and right margin except the last line. |
Other ways of formatting paragraphs.
Further paragraph formatting is achieved first by executing the command "Main menu\Style/Paragraphs", then by setting parameters relevant to paragraph formatting for all selected paragraphs from the dialog box as shown below:

This dialog box allows you formatting all selected paragraphs as it has been introduced with the tool bar. Furthermore you may specify the line spacing and the minimal distance with respect to the next and previous paragraphs.
The line spacing is the amount of white space left between lines of text belonging to the same paragraph, and is measured for each line as a multiple of line height of the biggest font. You may not have different line spacing within the same paragraph.
The vertical
distances is the amount of white space before and after the selected
paragraph.
