This policy is in addition to smartAPPOiNTTM's General
Terms of Use of governing smartAPPOiNTTM and should
read in conjunction with such terms of use.
- What
personally identifiable information is collected from me?
- Some
personal information is gathered when you register to use smartAPPOiNTTM.
During registration, smartAPPOiNTTM asks for your
name, email address, post code, phone details, date of birth, gender
and a few other optional details about you.
This information will assist the provider in identifying you as a
client and permit you to use smartAPPOiNTTM to make
appointments with the service provider.
- Collecting
IP addresses?
- We
collect IP addresses for system administration and to report aggregate
information to our advertisers.
In addition, smartAPPOiNTTM mail includes IP addresses
in outgoing mail message headers.
- How
does smartAPPOiNTTM use my information?
- smartAPPOiNTTM's
primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide the
service providers you wish to make appointments with the information
to allow them to recognise or contact you in case they need to modify
the appointment or to verify it.
As an additional service, by knowing a little about you, smartAPPOiNTTM
is able to deliver more relevant advertisements and content, and hence
better service, to you.
In our role of delivering more targeted and relevant advertisements,
smartAPPOiNTTM plays the role of a middleman.
Advertisers give us an advertisement and tell us the type of audience
they want to reach (for example, males over 35 years old).
smartAPPOiNTTM takes the advertisement and displays
it to users meeting that criterion. In this process, the advertiser
never has access to individual account information.
Only smartAPPOiNTTM has access to individuals' accounts.
This kind of advertisement targeting is done with banner ads.
You will only receive special offers via email from smartAPPOiNTTM
if you have indicated in your account preferences that you would like
to receive them. You can change your account preferences at any time.
To better assist providers in providing a better service to their
clients such as yourself, we will perform research on your appointments
made with the provider. We will assist in providing the provider information
such as time of appointment and type of appointment to facilitate
this process. This will enable the provider to identify your preferences
and hence provide a better service at your next appointment.
However, information on appointments made with one provider will not
be shared with another provider under any circumstances. Also transaction
records of all your appointments made with either a single or multiple
providers will not be disclosed to any party under any circumstances
other than those mentioned above.
smartAPPOiNTTM performs research on our users' demographics,
interests, and behaviour based on the information provided to us upon
registration, during a promotion, from our server log files or from
surveys. We do this to better understand and serve our users. This
research is compiled and analysed on an aggregated basis.
smartAPPOiNTTM may share this aggregated data with
advertisers or business partners.
- Who
is collecting information?
- When
you are on a smartAPPOiNTTM site and are asked for
personal information, you are sharing that information with smartAPPOiNTTM
alone.
We do not share any information other then name, address, tel. number,
date of birth, gender and email with the provider you requested an
appointment with, in order to identify you as a prospective client.
Please be aware that smartAPPOiNTTM advertisers
or web sites that have links on our site may collect personally identifiable
information about you. This privacy statement does not cover the information
practices of those web sites linked to smartAPPOiNTTM.
- With
whom does smartAPPOiNTTM share my information?
- As
a general rule, smartAPPOiNTTM will not disclose
any of your personally identifiable information except when we have
your permission or under special circumstances, such as:
(a) when we believe in good faith that the law requires it or under
the circumstances described below
(b) protect and defend the rights or property of smartAPPOiNTTM
(c) enforce this Agreement

be shared. The following describes some of the ways that your information

Providers:
smartAPPOiNTTM will have to share some of your personal
information with the provider you request an appointment with, such
as name, address, phone number and email.
From time to time, you may be offered the opportunity to receive materials
or special offers from third parties. If you opt-in to receive information
from these third parties, smartAPPOiNTTM may (with
your permission) share your name and email address with them.
Third Party Data & Data in the Aggregate:
Under confidentiality agreements, smartAPPOiNTTM
may match user information with third party data. Also, smartAPPOiNTTM
discloses aggregated user statistics (for example, 45% of our users
are female) in order to describe our services to prospective partners,
advertisers, and other third parties, and for other lawful purposes.
Other:
smartAPPOiNTTM may also disclose account information
in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this
information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action
against someone who may be violating smartAPPOiNTTM's
General Terms of Use or may be causing injury to or interference with
(either intentionally or unintentionally) smartAPPOiNTTM's
rights or property, other smartAPPOiNTTM users,
or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities. smartAPPOiNTTM
may disclose or access account information when we believe in good
faith that the law requires it and for administrative and other purposes
that we deem necessary to maintain, service, and improve our products
and services.
- What
are my choices regarding collection, use, and distribution of my information?
- smartAPPOiNTTM
will not send you junk emails; we believe that if you want to buy
something you can find it on your own.
smartAPPOiNTTM does not sell or rent user information
to anyone. We will notify you at the time of data collection or transfer
if your data will be shared with a third party and you will always
have the option of not permitting the transfer.
- What
is smartAPPOiNTTM's policy on allowing me to update, correct,
or delete my personally identifiable information?
- You
may edit your Customer Profile at any time by using your smartAPPOiNTTM
ID and password. If you have forgotten your password, you can click
the hyper link on that screen to receive your password in email.
Your smartAPPOiNTTM account can be deleted, but
doing so will result in not being able to set any appointments with
a provider until you decide to re-enter your account with us.
- How
does smartAPPOiNTTM protect my information?
- Keeping
your personal information private is vitally important to us. As with
all information, smartAPPOiNTTM will never rent
or sell your personal information.
Knowing that you use certain services or features may help us to offer
you better and more relevant content and advertisements. But as with
all personally identifiable information, we do not make this available
to any third parties without your permission. Any user statistics
that we may provide to prospective advertisers or partners regarding
financial product or service usage on smartAPPOiNTTM
are provided in the aggregate only and do not include any personally
identifiable information about any individual user.
- What
security precautions are in place to protect the loss, misuse, or
alteration of my information?
- Your
smartAPPOiNTTM Account Information and smartAPPOiNTTM
Profile are password-protected so that you and only you have access
to this personal information. smartAPPOiNTTM has
placed technical, physical and managerial procedures to help protect
the information collected on-line. The fact that smartAPPOiNTTM
has taken such measures is no guarantee or warranty that information
is or will be secure.
We strongly recommend that you do not give your membership registration
number and password to anyone. smartAPPOiNTTM will
never inquire for your password via unsolicited phone calls or emails.
Also remember to log out of your smartAPPOiNTTM
account and close your browser window when you have finished with
smartAPPOiNTTM. This ensures that others will not
access your personal information if you share a computer with someone
else or are using a computer in a public place like a library or Internet
cafe. Whenever smartAPPOiNTTM handles personal information
such as those described above, smartAPPOiNTTM will
take steps to ensure that your information is treated securely and
in accordance with the relevant Terms of Service and this Privacy
Statement.
Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed
to be 100% secure. As a result, while we endeavour to protect your
personal information, smartAPPOiNTTM cannot ensure
or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from
our online products or services, and you do so at your own risk. Once
we receive your transmission, we make our best effort to ensure its
security on our systems.
- What
about children's privacy?
- smartAPPOiNTTM
is a general audience web site. Children should always ask a parent
for permission before sending personal information to anyone online.
smartAPPOiNTTM does not share personal information
about users under the age of 18 with third parties and we do not sell
or rent personal information about any of our users, regardless of
age. In addition, smartAPPOiNTTM will not send any
direct email offers to users who indicate they are under the age of
18.

else should I know about my privacy?

keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information
online - for example on message boards, through email, or in chat
areas - that information can be collected and used by others. In short,
if you post personal information online that is accessible to the
public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in

behind smartAPPOiNTTM. You will be notified via
email of any changes to the Privacy policies. We will also post a
change notification marker on the smartAPPOiNTTM
home page for review.
If at some point in the future, there is a change to our information
usage practices that affect your Personally Identifiable Information,
we will notify you by email of the relevant changes. At the time of
this message, you will be able to opt-out of this information usage
