can continue making appointments as they currently do (i.e. by phone or walk-in).
Your non-Internet patient
will also benefit from smartAPPOiNTTM from better quality service
as you will have convenient access to their appointment history electronically.

for my practice scheduling needs?

To ensure that your specific practice needs are
addressed, the practice rules determining how appointments are scheduled can be
customised at both the business and practitioner levels (e.g. the type of services
offered by each practitioner, the duration of services, opening hours, minimum
lead time to online booking ... etc).

I lose control of my appointment book?

Definitely NOT!
Your patients
will not see your actual appointment book when they log in. To them, it will just
be a search-and-match functionality. Moreover, your employees have the rights
to over-write and modify any appointments made by your patients
via smartAPPOiNTTM.
You
can also set a maximum number of active appointments each patient
can have with your practice and block out certain appointment slots from Internet
bookings (e.g. withhold them for VIP customers).

Of course NOT!
Personal contact does not
only mean the interaction between you and your patients,
what really important is the nature of the interaction.
Even though
online appointment eliminates personal interaction with your patients
during the appointment making process, you will be able to provide your patients
with a much better personalised experience as smartAPPOiNTTM
equips you with information to know more about your patients
and greet and treat them like a regular.
You or your staff will also
be freed up from answering calls to interact and develop rapport with patient

do you prevent phantom appointments, late cancellations and no shows?

As we are a membership-based service, we will know
the identity of each member.
Upon registration, they have accepted the terms
of using the smartAPPOiNTTM service and have agreed not to abuse
it. As added protection, smartAPPOiNTTM lets your practice restrict
how many active appointments a patient
can have at any one time.
To prevent or reduce late cancellations and
no shows, automated reminders will be sent out to prompt patient
to contact you early.
- Is
smartAPPOiNTTM secure to protect my practice?
- All
users of smartAPPOiNTTM (ie. patients, employees, practice owners
or other businesses) have a unique membership ID.
To use the service, they
will need to provide the matching password to this ID.
Other practices
will not be able to view your appointment list as patients will only appear on
the list of practices that they choose to have a relationship with.
